Muelhens

Classic fragrance house Muelhens launched their first fragrance, 4711 Cologne in 1792. 4711 is said to have been formulated by a Carthusian monk and given to Wilhelm Muelhens as a wedding present. The Muelhens family continued to produce this best-selling unisex fragrance well into the 1990s before the fragrance was purchased by Maurer & Wirtz. Recent Maurer & Wirtz Muelhens fragrances include 4711 Ice Cool, The 4711 Acqua Colonia Collection.
