Another online fragrance retailer that is growing in popularity is Fragrance Direct. Unlike the other websites that I have talked about here recently, this one DOES sell testers.
They are upfront about it with symbols next to each product indicating whether it’s Fully Packaged, No Lid, Tester, Damaged, etc. Though they are seemingly honest about it, I’m still not crazy about buying perfume (particularly online) that isn’t fully packaged. But many people have had much success with this particular online retailer. Personally, I’m just never sure what you are going to get if it’s not packaged properly.
That being said, Fragrance Direct does offer a wide variety of perfumes for men and women, as well as skin care, hair care and body products. They sell some cosmetics as well, ranging from Almay to Yves Saint Laurent.
The Fragrance Direct website has been around since 1999, so they must be doing something right. They stock most of the top name brands, including many celebrity fragrances. The prices are extremely good - particularly if the product isn’t fully packaged. Their testers are unused. Therefore, you do get full quantities. They come in plain box and have “Tester” or “Demonstration” on the bottle. By purchasing these testers, you can get substantial discounts.

Get Your Shine On With Lip Gloss

Most of the time, we talk about perfume here, but oftentimes we discuss makeup and other beauty products. Today, let’s talk about how to get your shine on!
To add a little shine to your makeup routine, top your lipstick with a gloss. It’s a great way to take your daytime look and bring it into the evening.
Many forms of lip gloss exist - wands, pots, tubs and sticks. You should pick a lip gloss that adds shine but doesn’t get sticky.
And don’t use too much! It will end up making your lip color slide off your mouth.
To get your lipstick and gloss looking its best, start out by lining your lips with a lip liner that’s similar to your natural lip color. Then fill in your lips with your favorite lipstick. Add just a dab of lip gloss to your bottom lip in the center. Then you just need to smack your lips to distribute the shine.

Kimora Lee Simmons launched her new fragrance Baby Phat Fabulosity this week with a launch party at the Madison Room in New York. The new perfume is Kimora’s third (the first two were Goddess and Golden Goddess).
Baby Phat Fabulosity is named after her 2006 book, “Fabulosity: What It Is And How To Get It.”
Author, model, occasional actress and head of design for Baby Phat, Kimora and her husband Russell Simmons divorced in 2006. Kimora is currently dating model and Oscar nominated actor Djimon Hounsou, who can be seen in Calvin Klein Underwear billboard below.
Kimora began her modeling career at the young of 13 when she was chosen by top fashion guru Karl Lagerfeld to model for the house of Chanel in Paris. Kimora used her success as a runway model along with her keen sense of style to begin her own career as a fashion designer. How to Find the Perfect Perfume

Shopping for the perfect perfume isn’t an simple task. With so many different perfumes on the market, it’s difficult to figure out exactly which perfume is the best for you. Finding the perfect perfume takes some work on your part, but the reward you get from finding the perfect perfume is well worth it.
While you may already have a few perfumes that you like, it’s always a good idea to be looking for the next scent that will work best for you. Just like fashion styles change, perfume styles also change. Variety, as they say, is definitely the spice of life.
When shopping for the perfect perfume, you should have a general idea of what you are looking for to help you narrow your search. If there are certain scents you prefer over others, don’t waste your time trying out perfumes that you know you won’t like.
Once you have narrowed down the field, go out and collect as many samples as you can get. If you are shopping online, some retailers will send you a sample for you to smell their product. If you go to a department store, there may also be samples on hand for you to peruse. Don’t try out a bunch of different perfumes on your body at the store. There are too many scents in the store and you won’t be able to judge if you actually like the fragrance. You need to be able to take a sample home.
However, you aren’t out of luck if the department store doesn’t offer samples to take home. All you need to do is bring along some cotton balls and a few plastic baggies and you can create your own samples! Just put a small amount of the perfume on a cotton ball and place the cotton ball in the baggie and you have a sample that you can safely store.
The best place to test out the perfume samples are in places you spend most of your time. Those places likely include your home and your workplace. Dap a small amount of perfume on your wrist and judge the perfume over the course of a couple hours. Repeat this process until you find a perfect perfume to add to your rotation!
