Jonathan Rhys Meyers Launches Hugo Element

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is the face of Hugo Boss’s new scent for men, Hugo Element and fans had a chance to get a glimpse of the star at the recent launch event.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers - Hugo ElementThis past Friday, January 30th, he helped launch the fragrance at the Macy’s Heard Square store in New York City. Vistors who made a $65 purchase of Hugo Element had a chance to meet JRM and have him autograph their fragrance bottle.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been the front man for Hugo by Hugo Boss scents since last year and can be seen in both print and television spots.

Hugo Element is fresh woody aquatic fragrance with notes of coriander, ginger, calone and cedar. It’s available in 40 ml, 60ml and 90ml sizes and in matching grooming products

Later in 2009, Jonathan Rhys Meyers will be appearing in a new film, “Shelter” with Julianne Moore. Most recently, he completed filming “From Paris With Love” with John Travolta.

Leona Lewis to Launch Perfume

Since winning the reality show “The X Factor” in 2006, Leona Lewis has had a busy couple of years. In 2009, she will remain busy, announcing her attention to launch a new perfume before the end of the year.

Leona LewisTo create the perfume, Lewis reportedly worked closely to perfect both the fragrance and the bottle’s design. Although she had previously been asked about creating her own perfume, Lewis waited until she found an opportunity to do so with an ethical and reputable company.

“I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to work on such an exciting project,” said Lewis. “I am passionate about what I do and it is important for me to give the best I can to my fans all of the time. I love my new fragrance.”

After her success on “The X Factor”, Lewis was granted a ú1 million deal to join Syco Music, Simon Cowell’s record label. She had strong sales for her first UK single entitled “A Moment Like This”. However, she became a full-fledged star after the release of her second single “Bleeding Love”.

“Bleeding Love” was the world’s best selling single for 2008. It topped charts in countries from the United States to the United Kingdom and Russia to Japan. Her debut album, “Spirit”, was also a massive success.

If her perfume is even half as successful as her music career, Lewis fragrance will be a hot buy in 2009.

Burberry will launch its fragrance Burberry the Beat for Men throughout Europe, Asia and other markets in February. This Burberry fragrance has both a male and female version and is geared toward a younger audience than Burberry’s regular demographic.

This spring, American fashion designer Narciso Rodriguez reveals his latest signature fragrance called ‘essence’, an olfactory homage to the duality of a woman’s nature – the intense and the ethereal, the simple and the complex. ‘essence’ marks the designer’s third scent created in collaboration with Beaut?® Prestige International, the Paris-based fragrance division of the Shiseido Cosmetics Corporation.

Internationally celebrated perfumer Alberto Morillas magically enhanced the modern heart of musc with radiant notes of rose petals, powdery notes of iris and hints of amber resulting in a floral, powdery musc fragrance.

Essence Fragrance

The ‘essence’ bottle, a masterpiece in soft-sculpted glass, glows from within its mirrored core. Created by noted industrial designer Ross Lovegrove, its elemental shapes allude to a woman’s contours to form an exquisite object of art.
