Launched in 2011, Marc Jacobs Daisy Pop Art Edition is a woody musk take on Daisy that has a very stylish, inviting feel. It is presented in an opaque red glass bottle and the gold cap is decorated with two glossy black daisies. The top notes are violet leaf, strawberry and grapefruit. The heart contains jasmine, gardenia and violet flower while the base notes are musk, vanilla and woodsy notes.

Every year Kenzo release a new limited edition of the hugely successful Flower by Kenzo and the latest – Flower by Kenzo Summer 2011 – has just been announced. I do not have an exact launch date yet but this new fragrance will definitely hit the shelves in time for the summer. Like the previous summer editions, Flower by Kenzo Summer 2011 will only be produced for a short time, but it will probably still be available online for some time yet.

This year’s summer edition is presented in the now-iconic curved bottle but the poppy has been given a colourful new update, with a turquoise stem and magenta text on the box. It retains most of the notes of Flower by Kenzo but with the addition of a lovely fresh bergamot note and a new vanilla musk accord in the base. The bergamot note really updates the fragrance and it lasts throughout the composition.
