Recently unveiled is former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham’s new fragrance, “Signature,” which launches in stores around the world this month. Two versions are to be sold: Beckham Signature for Her and Beckham Signature for Him. Unlike the Beckhams’ previous market launches, the fragrance will only be available in prestige department stores.

Victoria was spotted in the Harvey Nichols store in Manchester on August 29, schmoozing with fans and signing autographs as part of the perfume’s launch. There is already plenty of buzz around the new fragrance, partially because of the world’s fascination of anything that has to do with Victoria or her soccer star husband David Beckham.

Developed by perfumer Sylvie Fischer, Beckham Signature for Her is a fruity floriental that contains notes of anise flower, candy apple, orchid, heliotrope, vanilla, patchouli, amber, and musk. The perfume embodies Victoria’s femininity, sexy attitude and strength.

Beckham Signature for Him was developed by Beatrice Picquet, and the scent is a fresh woody oriental that features mandarin, watermelon, marine notes, lantana, white amber, patchouli, moss, juniper berry, and cypress. The fragrance intends to capture David’s masculinity, ambition and elegance.

The Signature line is not the first scent released by Victoria Beckham. Intimately Beckham perfume hit the stores months ago. However, “Signature” promises to be a classy – and higher priced – departure from her previous endeavor.
